Have a problem worth exploring?

Want to talk product pages, checkout, AI shopping, or teams that look for evidence before they build? Me too. A problem you’re stuck on, a half-formed idea: send it over. I reply to every note myself.

Good reasons to reach out

Where a conversation is worth having.

I try to reply within a week, usually sooner. No pitch needed. A sentence about what you’re wrestling with is plenty.

  1. Commerce, end to end

Discovery, product pages, checkout, payments, my account

Anywhere from the first search to the order, and the account after it. That path is my day job, and I’d love to hear how yours works.

  2. AI shopping

    Guidance customers can trust

Figuring out where AI really helps a shopper, and how to measure it? I’m happy to share what I’ve learned about grading an AI agent’s answers and making them safer.

  3. Content that inspires

    Homepage, category, and collection pages

Pages that help people find their way before they know what they want. I’ve built a whole site’s content structure from scratch, and the pages that live on it.

  4. Service and support

    Customer service, early chatbots, stores

Everything that happens around the purchase. I’ve built internal apps for customer service teams, written messages for first-generation chatbots, and helped build store experiences.

  5. Considered purchases

    Spec-heavy products, carriers, and phones

Do your customers compare every spec before they buy? At Verizon I built pages that sold carrier service and phones. Today it’s spec-heavy products. Those careful decisions are the ones I enjoy most.

  6. Product teams and leadership

    Proof before pitch

Building a team that learns faster, brings working things to reviews, and keeps product judgment close to customers? I’d love to hear about it.

Write to me.

A sentence about what you’re working on is plenty. I read every note and reply myself.
